24 Hours 46 minutes and counting.....
Ok, so these might not be the most interesting posts for anybody else...but I can't help my excitement, so I have to write it down...and isn't that what the blog is for anyway?
Shank and I are both too excited for words today. I keep asking him, did I do this, did I do that, in preparation for their arrival. And he keeps reassuring me it will all be ok. Things are going to be fine he keeps telling me. I actually got nauseated last nite and didn't even eat supper. NOW, what's that all about I ask you? I never miss a meal...or anything to eat or chew for that matter. But I did last nite and I even was up most of the nite too. My stomach just is in knots. I know its real cause what else pops up this morning? YEP, a cold sore, fever blister...or what Shank affectionately calls "THE PLATYPUS!" (re: Platypus post from 12/06)
I cannot believe it, and just before a really nice person wants to meet me in person for the first time (and is travelling a long way and spending a ton of moolah to do so) and I have this thing, this growth, this humongous sore on my lip?
Geez...nobody but me could this happen to.
Now if that was all that happened today. Shank had to get a tooth pulled ( cost just too much to repair) and being on so much blood thinner and heart meds he had to stop one med for a week prior to today as to not bleed to death in the dentists chair. As if that wasn't enough to worry about. He did ok (with the blood part) but while the dentist was pulling THE tooth, the one beside it snapped at the root! So he had to cut it out as well. The dentist was so apologetic and assured us he had NEVER seen anything like it before, and let him go with not only one too many stitches to count, but half price. Ok we took that....although we were thinking later after Shank had a couple of pain pills..since he ruined a perfectly good tooth...why not, just NOT charge us anything?
Ha....Guess we are in la la land.....did I inadvertently take one of his pain pills???
All I can say is this,
"Ammeg, if you happen to read this before you leave........When you get to the Airport just look for the Toothless, Fat, bald guy with the Fatlipped, Fat lady by his side, that would be us."

Are they wearing you out, or what? LOL Not a single post since they arrived! I can't wait to hear all about the fun and see the pictures!!!!
