Sam's New Ride

Sam got a new ride from Santa. A Pink Camouflage 4 wheeler.
I got the pleasure of getting to see her on Christmas day and witness her showing off her new ride. It was Hilarious to see her ride it as she bends over like a 100 year old granny, behind the wheel of a humongous caddy. (at least in my mind) So I went to take a pic to save and thought I might be able to video it...

I actually had no clue that I could make a video with my camera I have had for about 3 years. I was hoping it would work to be able to show just how slow Sam was driving. Not the best video but it is too cute. (for some reason video is gone now)

I only wish I had taken a video of this as well....but I think the pic speaks for itself.

Another Week in My Life

Its been a bit since I posted, so just a few pics to show what I have been doing.

After some of the snow was gone from last week, Shank and I decided to get out and get some much needed exercise. He can run....I just walk slow behind him and take pics!

He is realizing I am in the warm car and NOT behind him!

Stupid Weather Guys

This Sucks! No Snow....I love the snow.

No snow like we were told...only ice. We did get about 2 inches...if that...but it is mostly Ice. I tried to take a few pics but nothing much told of lots of snow, cause there was none!

There was not much snow or Lil Bit could not walk around...I got her a Green winter sweat shirt made just in time for the snow (thanks Kim for the use of the sewing machine!) Not the best pic of her but she was following Elvis and would not pose for me, but you can see she does just fine in her new winter sweat shirt. Now I just need to figure out how to make her some boots, I am thinking Red so she will be decked out in the Holiday Cheer!

(No.....I am not one of those people who dress up their animals, although some are too cute.....she just got her hair trimmed and is also old and cold)

I would have taken a picture but it still would look like the last one.....that would be such a waste of memory card space. :)

Did Somebody Say Snow?

Forecast for most of Indiana for today and Sunday.....Major SNOWStorm...some places as much as 12 or more inches and Ice also, OHHH how I love the snow, I sure hope we get some!

(Shank says that is the best job to have..You can go to college become a Weather man and then you can be wrong more than 50% of the time but still get paid and keep your job)

SO....we will see.................................

7 am....teeny bit of snowflakes

8 am....rain

9 am......tiny bit of snow coming down...put on my crappy boots just in case

9:30 am went to McDonald's for breakfast, stopped by the Post Office for mail

Got dad some coffee, smelled like a rotten skunk was in the car with us all the way home

11 am.....went to Post Office for the second time (Not raining or snowing or sleeting)

12:30 pm....went to Local Grocery to buy what I could with the 10 bucks in my pocket

eyeballed that everyone in there had Cottage Cheese...hmmm sounds good...went to get some...it was all gone.

Saw they all had chips too....went to get some...it was gone too.

Decided on Ground Beef...Powdered Donuts....Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate with marshmellows

and cookies for dad

pretty good combo I thought.

bit of snow....sleet....rain coming down so will keep you posted

1:30 pm.... decided to go ahead and have some hamburgers now

OH did I mention....I love the SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No Title Necessary

Holy Crap...

Am I ever tired. I have to say I am glad my child is old enough to take care of himself. I just got home from babysitting and I am pooped. I loved it, but am pooped. Got to sit for my niece's for the first time in a long time and over night too, so that was fun. I got to take some pics, although they mostly came out lousy....and we only got to take them by telling Syd we only wanted them for ourselves and we would not let anyone else see them as she was not in makeup or her hair was not done up.

We lied. Here are a couple.

I think I played every noisy game possible with Sam

I got to watch Syd lose it and nearly pull her hair out when her laptop battery died and shut off while she was chatting with her girlfriends around 10:30 pm

I got to see her go crazy trying to start up 3 different computers for about 30 minutes to try to connect to the friends again before remembering there is something called a TELEPHONE
I got to see the bewildered look on her face when Shank found her $67 stash in about 5 seconds she hid in her private hiding place that nobody has EVER found
I got to stay up till 2 am

I got to sleep on a couch with a 8 foot teenager and an 7 foot wild child that talks, farts and kicks in her sleep

I got to get up at 4 am to find the LOUD alarm that nearly scared me and Sam to death

I got to get up for good at 5 am cause Syd had a belly ache from the pizza she ate at 11 pm

I got to hear Sam fart while eating Fruit Loops at 5:30 am

I got to go turn off the LOUD alarm again at 6 am (seriously, what was up with that?)

I got to help Syd figure out what you would have left if you have 4/5's of something....it only took us about 15/20 minutes....(note:my defense is age/lack of sleep) Not sure what was wrong with Syd :)

I got to play the old 52 pickup game on Sam

I got to laugh my butt off when she fell for it and realized they had no clue to what I was doing (it cracked me up though)

I got to laugh my butt off trying to explain to Sam that Mary Kate and Ashley are in their 20's and not babies like on Full House ( she still didn't get it)

I got to laugh my butt off when Sam's cheer leading pants fell off while she was pretending to run a relay race (and when she realized they fell off, she farted)

I got to laugh my butt off again when Shank in an ever continuing effort to keep me safe, tried to make sure I would check before opening the front door in the dark, so I told him to look out the peep hole, he did and could not see anything, I did and could not see anything.....he tried to look again and then opened it anyway and we noticed...there is no peep hole. (it was just a round black magnet on the inside of the door)

I can't see with glasses and he can't see without them

Shank got to tell Sam about when she was born her sister Syd farted in his face constantly

(upon hearing about that...Sam farted)

I got to see just how long 2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts lasts between 4 people that have had no sleep (correction: Sam got 7 hours sleep....she farted the other hour)

I got to realize that my brother and his wife have raised two of the fartingest kids possible

Even with all the farting I had a great time and love them to bits! And, I can't wait until the next time!

Dear Santa

Santa, please look closely at the picture below, as I would love you to bring Shankie this guitar. He would love it. I have been a good girl and this is all I want for Christmas, for my Shank....Thanks.






P.S. Please hurry though as they go on sale at Guitarworks in Greenwood today at 5pm and there are only 10. :)

Snow!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday we got some snow......................I love the snow, did I ever say that?

ok, here is the picture....if you want to call this snow.

I call it "Snow Dust"

I think Indy got a bit more...like maybe 4 more inches.

But then Friday we got a bit more lucky. I say "lucky" cause I love the snow.

This was taken through the kitchen window...(you could never even see out the window before this year let alone take a picture...not too bad, huh?)

And of course the Pine Trees always look nice with snow. It will all probably be gone by tomorrow, as its a bit warm out today. If I had a good pair of boots and a nice toboggan or even a decent sled I would try to go out and slide down the hill a few times.

hahahhahahhahahhahaahahahha..me..slide down the hill.....I crack myself up.
